This retreat is for you, if you are looking for something MORE.

If your soul is screaming into space, waiting to be heard.
If you want to be challenged, to find your boundaries, and to break them down with your bare hands.
If you are ready to strip away the ‘stuff’ that gives your life meaning, and find out what’s beneath.
If you have heard THE CALL, and are wondering how to answer.
If you identify as a searcher, a seeker, a warrior, a journeywoman.

New Paradigms: An Equinox Retreat @ KUDHVA

This retreat is about finding out who you are, and deciding to explore the possibilities - the shadow side as well as the light. Getting out of the vessel in which you live, and seeking out higher dimensions, deeper connections, new paradigms.

We’ll be working with a curated series of workshops from deep sound journeys to fire ceremonies, connecting back to the elements that hold the chemistry of life together and teaching you the skills you need to take back to the urban jungle and step into an amplified, freshly empowered perspective.

If this experience is calling out to you, request the full retreat pack and apply for your place by following the link at the bottom of the page.

Kudhva is a “glamp-site” like no other. Four “kudvhas” stand statuesque on their steel legs, nestled in the tree canopy. Down below, the Reception Lodge hosts simple two-ring stoves and enough firewood and #kudvibes to set the sky alight. Foraged quartz and wild foliage clutters the communal table, melting candles sink into the surfaces, the unmistakable scent of a strong espresso cuts through the white sage and palo santo simmering intermittently through the air. Across the slate pathway, the wood fired hot tub steams into the clear sky, its view taking in a sofa perched atop the cliff and beyond, Gull Rock, rising out of the thundering Atlantic Ocean. Starter for 10?

Discover Kudhva

There are four kudhvas, each sleeping two in a cosy double bed. Suitable for couples, good girlfriends, or solos on the splurge. The Danish Cabin sleeps 6 in single bunks. You’ll be with a likeminded crew, friends for life. If you are feeling extra wild, there are tentsiles – tents suspended in trees. They can sleep two, tightly.

The Reception lodge houses a kitchen, communal dining table, loads of rescued sofas and a swing-y seat to while away the time in. Outside there’s an open wood fired stove and a bar area that we’ll set up for evenings. There are so many fire pits we’ve lost count, but once you know how to light a fire in the wild, anything goes.

Choose your digs

Breakfast is DIY because we believe it’s the best meal of the day - we’ll supply the goods – think local eggs, spiced up with Cornish chillies, not so local avo (it’s our major sin), freshly made salsas, local sourdough and griddled halloumi. We’ll also have overnight oats and smashed berries for the less Mexican inclined. Lunch is on the go. We have so much happening that rather than interrupt the flow we’ll lay out a bunch of wholefood salads, homemade houmous, and fresh fruit for you to get into in your own time. Dinner will be a major event with each evening hosting a different local indie showcasing their wares. Our sunday night supper will be a sit down dinner. Bring something sparkly to go with your grubby feet and don’t forget your dancing shoes (bare feet).

Fuel for body & mind

Our team of facilitators will be hosting a range of workshops that have been carefully curated to equip you with tools, skills and inspiration that will inspire your soulseeking and stay with you long beyond your Kudhva adventure.

Skills to take home

We've crafted a schedule that can be as flexible as you choose - full of workshops, together time and quiet time. Shared meals, and opportunities to grab a plate and vanish into the wilderness. All our classes and workshops are optional, so if you feel called to solitude, a solo dip in the water, or a starlight hike after dinner, you can do whatever you like. The full schedule is available by requesting the retreat brochure.

What's happening when

You're welcome to arrive by car - Kudhva is located near Tintagel on Cornwall's north coast, so the last hour of your drive will be through Britains' best B-roads and beyond. We'll be arranging transfers (at cost) from the nearest train station (Bodmin Parkway) and airport (Newquay), once we have the whole group's timings.

How to join us

If you’ve got this far, you’re unafraid. Kudvha is a natural wilderness. There is no electricity – just a little solar power switched on for a few hours each morning and evening to provide hot water and a bit of light in the Reception. Don’t expect to charge your phone. Bring a torch. Bring a waterproof jacket. Bring walking boots but expect to end up in flip flops or nothing at all. Get the soil between your toes and under your nails, and be glad you did. You’ll probably have slightly dirty feet when you go to bed and you’ll be getting changed by candlelight. This is life as nature intended. Be prepared.
